Friday afternoon we decided to crack a bottle of 2000 Clare Valley shiraz that we'd been given at work. Lovely way to finish the week.


Saturday morning was a crisp jaunt to Maroubra for the breakfast ride. My legs weren't cooperating this morning, while yesterday they felt great. Maybe I'm just adjusting to geared riding..

I wish they wouldn't develop this space at all. It has such potential to be used by the public, but it's already slated for massive over-development. Best enjoy it while we can.

Winter's first cold day.

Today was cold.

Growing older, riding further.

After 3 years of riding fixed gears and collecting bikes and parts, my interests have changed a bit. Maybe it's that I live further out from the city and have much further to commute, or maybe it's the changing face of the ever-growing fixed gear "scene": whatever it is, I now have more geared bikes than fixed, and hardly ever ride fixed.
Maybe it's time for this one to go.
